Inspired by a song that helped shape my childhood. “Old Man Emu" is a famous 1970 comedic Australian country song by John Williamson that tells the lighthearted story of an emu boasting about his unique traits, most famously that he can "run the pants off a kangaroo".The song is structured as a tongue-in-cheek interview with an old emu.
